GEMCORE360° Transparent Film Dressings Transparent Film Dressings consist of a thin polyurethane film coated with a acrylic adhesive. The two-tab application allows for quick secure placement. The dressings are ideal for IV sites, donor sites, burns, ulcers and sutures. It is impermeable to external liquid and microorganisms and provides better adhesion in moist environments. This dressing is highly permeable to oxygen and moisture vapor and is an outstanding barrier to bacteria and fluid contaminants. Sterile single Use. Not made with Natural Rubber Latex.
Indicated for non-exudating wounds, protecting wound sites and skin. It can be used as a secondary dressing to cover and protect vascular site and secure devices to skin: Skin tears, lacerations, abrasions, peripheral and central IV lines, partial thickness wounds, full thickness wounds (as a secondary dressing).
